Feature

Add everything from one screenshot

Screenshot the subscriptions page you already have, and Suby reads every name, price and date — you just confirm what to keep.

Suby import screen — review subscriptions read from a screenshot before adding

What you get

  • Screenshot your App Store or Google Play subscriptions page — Suby reads it for you.
  • Names, prices and renewal dates arrive filled in, up to 40 rows in one shot.
  • Review and edit every row before a single subscription joins your list.
  • Ones you already track come unticked, so a repeat import never doubles up.

In detail

Reads your store billing list

Pick a screenshot of your Google Play or App Store subscriptions page and Suby pulls the service name, price, currency and billing period out of each line. One screenshot carries up to 40 rows, and results stream in as they're read.

Nothing is added until you tick it

Every row arrives on a review screen with its own checkbox, and nothing touches your list until you confirm. Rows that came back without a price or a billing period are marked "Add missing details" and the add button stays disabled until you either fill them in or untick them.

Duplicates are caught for you

If a row matches a service you already track, it drops into an "Already tracked" group and comes unticked by default, so a second import will not quietly double your list. "Add anyway" is there for the case where you genuinely pay for two of something.

Any row opens the full editor

Tap the edit icon on a row and you get the same form as adding a subscription by hand: price, currency, billing period, billing date, description, auto-renew, payment method, tags, trial dates, and how many people share the cost. Changes apply to that row only and you come straight back to the review list.

See the monthly figure first

The review header keeps a running "≈ x / month" for the rows you have ticked, with yearly and weekly prices normalised to a monthly number. Mixed currencies are not converted — the figure covers the most common currency in that batch.

How it works

  1. Grab the screenshot

Screenshot your subscriptions page in Google Play on Android, or the App Store account subscriptions page on iOS. If you are already on Suby's import screen, the "See my subscriptions" button opens that page for you.

  2. Open import from a screenshot

On an empty dashboard tap "Add from a screenshot". Otherwise go to add a subscription and tap the "Import from a screenshot" card at the top of the Choose a service screen. Then tap "Pick a screenshot" and choose the image from your photo library.

  3. Review what we found

Rows appear under "Review what we found". Untick anything you do not want, fix any row flagged "Add missing details", and tap the edit icon on a row to change price, period, payment method, tags or anything else before it is saved.

  4. Add them

Tap "Add n subscriptions" at the bottom. You land on a summary showing how many were added, how many were new services, how many duplicates were skipped, and the monthly total — with a "See my subscriptions" button through to your list.

Questions

Do I need an account to import?

No. Suby creates an anonymous session in the background so the import service can authenticate the request, but you are never asked to sign up or hand over an email. Signing in is only needed for things like cloud backup — not for importing.

Is it free?

You get three free imports per install, counted on your device. After that the import screen's button becomes an upgrade prompt and further imports need Premium. Anything you already imported stays in your list, and there is no cap on how many subscriptions a free account can track.

What happens to my screenshot, and does it work offline?

It needs a connection — the screenshot is sent to Suby's server to be read, and with no network you get a "Couldn't connect" message. The image itself is not stored. All that is recorded against the request is metadata: image size and type, how many subscriptions were found, average confidence, and timing. The picture is never saved.
